Roseanne Supernault received the Best Performance Female/Non-Binary Nomination for her work in Dark Nature. In the feature film by Writer/Director/Producer Berkley Brady, Supernault plays the role of Shaina, a soldier with PTSD who goes on a wellness retreat with a group of women and their therapist. In the mountains they intercept a dangerous and dark creature who wants them dead.
Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) is a non-profit professional association incorporated in 1973. They hold their annual awards ceremony, nicknamed "The Rosies," where top film industry professionals are awarded for their work from the previous year. AMPIA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected at an Annual General Meeting.
Dark Nature had it's world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal, Quebec.
